In my last blog post, I revealed that I have gained back 85 of the 115 pounds that I had lost over the past few years. This was tough to admit, but it was easier to publish because I already had a plan in place. At the time of my last blog post, I was already 1 week into my Ketogenic diet plan. In just one week, not only was the weight coming off, but I was feeling really good also. So, now that I am over 1 month into my plan, I'm here to give you an official update. Below, you will see my weight loss, waist measurements, and a look into how I have achieved this recent success with Keto.

Time again for my weekly update. Thanks for checking in again this week as I post my weight, body fat, and waist measurements. I really appreciate your help in keeping me accountable to my health goals! Last week, I finally got down below the 240 mark, taking me out of the "Obese" BMI category. This week, my goal was to stay below that line and not bounce back. How did I do? Check below to see the numbers...
Thanks for checking in here every Sunday, where I post my Weight, Body Fat %, and Waist Measurements. I really appreciate all of the feedback that I receive from my readers. Please feel free to leave a comment or question below. As always, you can email me by clicking the Contact Me tab above. This week, I'm very excited to reveal a new milestone in my weight loss. This is one that I've been eyeing for a VERY long time! Check below to see the numbers...
Time for this week's update! This post is slightly delayed due to a very important matter...the start of the NFL season. :-) By the way, my team won....go Falcons! Not a lot of commentary this week. I have been working on a big blog post this week which I will talk a little about at the end of this post. Check below for more details. Ok, here are this week's numbers...
Happy Labor Day! This update is coming to you one day late, but better late than never, right? This is not something I recommend for anyone starting or early on their weight loss journey, but this week I actually started weighing in daily. Now that I am dealing with this plateau, I thought it would be interesting to see how my weight is fluctuating during the week. I plan on doing this for a few weeks and then sharing the results. Ok, here are this week's numbers...
Thanks to everyone who sent in encouraging words after last week's disappointing weigh-in. I really appreciate the support, and I'm happy to serve as an example of perseverance for those of you who are plateauing with me. :-) You may have noticed that I didn't post a new blog post this week. This was not on purpose, but as I was writing my post for last week, I felt like I needed some extra time to do the subject justice. The topic? It's an analysis and possible explanation for my own weight loss plateaus. Stay tuned later this week for the post. Ok, here are this week's numbers....
This week's update will be much shorter than last week! Thanks for stopping by to check on my health and weight loss progress. This week's update is much different than I thought it would be a week ago. After several weeks of weight loss, my weight unexpectedly shot back up again. Here are the numbers:
There is a lot to cover in this week's edition of Stephen's Weekly Update! Aside from the usual progress numbers, I'll be talking about:
- My ketosis experiment - A new book I'm reading - A very exciting update on my search for a new scale! Ok, first things first...here are this week's numbers: Two years ago this week, I stepped on the road that has led me to a nearly 110 lb weight loss. At age 29, I was more unhealthy than I have ever been: 350 lbs, severely obese, high blood pressure, metabolic syndrome, constantly exhausted and depressed. Fast-forward to today: 241 lbs, normal blood pressure, stable blood sugar, plenty of energy, an active lifestyle, and very happy with my life. I am definitely still pushing toward my goal of 220 lbs, but compared to two years ago, I am in a very good place right now! Check out my timeline below with my updated stats at the bottom.
After a fun and much needed week off, I am returning with my weekly update. Over the past two weeks I have adjusted my diet a bit, but I have stuck close to the plan. I also went to camp with my oldest son, so my activity level was way up. Ok, here are the numbers...
