Video: The Science of Addictive Food
Honestly, there are some people out there who really do need help with food addictions. If you are one of those people, I suggest you do reach out to someone. For others, though, there are some strategies that may prove useful in curbing or even eliminating the pull of these foods.
The most obvious is this: Completely abstain from these addictive foods. "Everything in moderation" is simply not true for many people.
If you can't control yourself with these foods, the most obvious thing to do is to completely remove them from your life. This is not easily done, but I believe that an initial concerted effort to do this can lead to a much more manageable way of life for chronic overeaters.
