2. Body Fat %
In addition to weight, I will be measuring my body fat percentage. You may have noticed that my bathroom scale has a body fat % reading, but I have found this to be very inaccurate. So, to measure my body fat, I will be using an Omron Body Fat Loss Monitor. This device is supposed to be much more accurate, and was actually very affordable. I will take a body fat percentage reading each week and post it along side my weight.
3. Waist Measurement
The other measurement I will be taking is my waist measurement. Waist circumference, statistically, is very important in determining overall health. Fat around the abdomen area is considered the most deadly fat, so reducing waist circumference is very important when trying to lose weight. I have already been doing this measurement (see my milestone posts), but I will now be posting it weekly here on the blog.
