Today, I'm very excited to review Keto Clarity, which is being released today, and I will reveal how this book has already produced big results for me!
Stephen's Review of Keto Clarity
A lot could be said of Keto Clarity. It really is a definitive guide to a Low-Carb, High-Fat diet. For my review, though, I'd like to focus on my two favorite aspects of the book: Jimmy's Personal Experience and the Quick Practical Reference Chapters.
Probably the most compelling part of this book is Jimmy Moore's personal weight loss story. Jimmy's journey is not your typical "weight loss success story". He really struggled to find a way to lose the weight and keep it off. His story of success, failure, and then ultimate success is exactly what I needed to hear to motivate me to look further into the actual science of Ketosis.
During this journey, he picked up a lot of practical advice for living on and succeeding at a ketogenic diet. As you read the book, you really get a sense that he has spent a lot of time thinking about and dealing with various practical issues involved with this diet. This content, to me, was equally as important as the scientific information and research.
Quick Practical Reference Chapters
Two of my favorite chapters are the "Keto FAQ" and "Ten Reasons You May Not Be Producing Adequate Ketones" Both of these chapters were really interesting the first time around but, since then, I have found myself referring back to these chapters many times for quick information. When you are trying something like ketosis, its so invaluable to have specific questions already answered and easy to find.
Overall, I thought that this was a very good book and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in nutritional ketosis.
My Personal Results
So, the big question now is.... did it work for me? The answer is YES!
Very soon, I'll be writing a more detailed account of my personal experience with Ketosis, but I did want to let you know that so far it has been a big success!
It took me approximately 8 days to enter into nutritional ketosis and I have been able to maintain this for over a week. Right now, I am using the urine stips to test this. So far, I have been producing Moderate to High levels of ketones as measured by the urine strips.
I'm also happy to report that my weight is going down again and it looks like this may be a good means of getting me past my personal weight plateau.
