Another exciting weigh-in this week!  As you'll see in this post, the start of the school year has been good for my weight loss and bad for my blogging.  Thanks for checking in again this week!

I realise that I have not been blogging as much lately since my summer break has ended.  It's unfortunate, since I've actually had a lot to say that I haven't had time to sit down and write.  My plans are to schedule time to write at least one post per week (In addition to the weekly update).  I'll say more about this at the end of the post....let's look at this week's numbers!

Weight:


Starting Weight: 350 lbs (8/1/2012)
Last week's weight:  237.4 lbs

This week's weight: 236.2

This week's loss: 1.2 lbs  :-)
Total Weight Loss: 113.6 (32.5%)

Last Week: 24.7 %

This Week: 25.1 %

Difference: +.4%


Note: This measurement is still showing somewhat of a plateau, but I'm still not sure how accurate this really is.   We'll see in the next few weeks.

Waist Measurement: (At Belly Button)


Last Week: 41.5 "

Difference: 0

Note: I am measuring right at the belly button with no slack and I am not "sucking in" at all.  My current pants size is a 36 or 38 waist, but my official measurement is higher on the widest part of my waist.

I've been trying to decide exactly what has changed to finally help me break my weight loss plateau and I think I have the answer.   Well, actually.... I had the answer.  Amazingly, it appears that the key to breaking this plateau is in a blog post from over a month ago.  If you haven't already read this, read my post: My Summer Break Weight Loss Fail: 4 Reasons Going Back to Work Restarts Weight Loss.  Back when I wrote this post, I was just making an observation about my past weight loss history, but I had no idea how prophetic it would be.


So, as I said at the beginning of this post, I will be publishing a post this week (on Wednesday morning) on the topic of how exactly I have been able to get the scale moving again.  I'd love to hear what you think about this topic.  If you have any comments or questions, please leave them below in the comments section.  Thanks for stopping by today!  See you soon!
